SUMMARY:19èmes Journées Internationales de Sociologie du Travail
DESCRIPTION:Madrid (Spain) | 7–10 July 2026\nCirculations\, Divisions\, Localisations \n\nThe 2026 edition of the International Labour Sociology Conference will bring together labour sociologists from French- and Spanish-speaking countries to reflect on the “global” dimensions embedded within their own research objects. Co-organised by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and the Clersé – Centre lillois d’études et de recherches sociologiques et économiques\, the conference builds on previous editions focused on the blurring of labour boundaries (2021) and the processes of organisation\, disorganisation\, and reorganisation of work (2024). \nUnder the theme “Circulations\, Divisions\, Localisations”\, the conference will explore both traditional forms of the international division of labour and global value chains (North–South\, centre–periphery)\, as well as newer forms of fragmentation and recomposition in the social geographies of work. Topics include outsourcing and subcontracting\, formality and informality\, productive and reproductive labour\, legal and illegal work\, and the transformation of labour processes and workers’ collectives in a globalised economy. \nThe conference aims to provide a space for dialogue and exchange on how contemporary labour dynamics are being reshaped across territories\, sectors\, and social relations\, offering new perspectives on the changing organisation of work worldwide. \n🔗 More info: https://jist2026.sciencesconf.org/
