Mireia Bolíbar Planas

Llicenciada en sociologia per la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona el 2007. Actualment és becària FPU del Ministeri d’Educació.
Ha cursat el Master en Investigació Sociològica Aplicada de la UAB, obtenint el títol amb la memòria d’investigació “Xarxes associatives, immigració i participació. Una aproximació empírica als lligams entre capital social i participació associativa”, dirigida pels professors Carlos Lozares i Joel Martí.
Actualment està cursant el doctorat al Departament de Sociologia i realitza la tesi doctoral en la qual estudia la integració de la població immigrant mitjançant l’anàlisi de xarxes socials i l’estudi de les seves estratègies de participació. També participa en la investigació I+D+I I “Estudio comparado de casos sobre la influencia mutua entre capital e integración sociales y la inserción, estabilidad, promoción y cualificación en el empleo”.Graduated in Sociology by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2007. At present she holds a PhD fellowship of the Ministry of Education of Spain.
In 2009 she presented her master dissertation “Associative networks and immigrant’s participation, an empirical approach to the connections between social capital and civic participation”, supervised by the professors Carlos Lozares and Joel Martí.
At present she is developing her PhD on the integration of migrant population using social networks analysis and the study of their participatory strategies. In addition to this, she is currently working on the study “Comparative case study on the mutual influence between social capital, social integration and the insertion , stability, promotion and qualification in the employment”.
