Abstract: Urban wetlands provide a combination of environmental and social benefits. In Cali, however, many of these ecosystems face pollution and neglect. This article analyses the relationship between wetland management and the benefits they generate, thereby recognising the value of these spaces in the construction of more just and sustainable cities.
