Abstract: Núria Sánchez Mira has analysed in her doctoral thesis the transformations in the social and sexual division of labour in Spain, focusing on households and underlining the class dimension of these changes. In particular, she focuses on working-class dual-income couples as a group that has been at the centre of recent transformations. The author has been awarded the 2016 Ángel Rozas Prize for research in the social sciences, promoted by the Cipriano García Foundation.
