The centrality of work. A comparative analysis between Spain and Germany (2016)

The thesis aims to identify and analyze the transformations that the modern industrial society experiences with respect to subjective notions of the centrality of work informers two companies: Spain and Germany. We propose an approach on two levels. On the one hand, theoretical analytical cut in which we have a tour of the guesswork and sociological diagnoses regarding the transformations that modern societies are experiencing in their organization. In turn we identify changes also impact the work as a social institution; ie as an ideology, system of material production, organizational, social action and subjective considerations.
