Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology (1979) and Doctorate in Sociology (1987) obtained at the University of Deusto . Tenured University Professor appointed to the Department of Sociology (Faculty of Political Science and Sociology) at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).Member of the Centre d’Estudis Sociològics sobre la Vida Quotidiana i el Treball (QUIT) since its foundation has developed her research activities focussed on the gender inequalities, industrial relation from a gender perspective, work organisation, time and the changes in the labour market.
