Daniel de Gracia Palomera

Post-doctoral researcher

Daniel is a postdoctoral researcher, within the framework of the Juan de la Cierva grants program, at the Center for Sociological Studies on Everyday Life and Work (QUIT) of the UAB.

His current research work is framed within the study of research practice in social sciences as a profession, analysing the influence between the quality of research, its institutional rules and research practices and trajectories in Social Sciences.

He has carried out funded doctoral stays at University College Dublin and the University of Chile, as well  as periods of training and research at institutions such as the CIS, the INE and the Carlos III Health Institute.

Research Interests

His main research interest is linked to the study of methodological plurality in social research, biographical trajectories and the sociology of professions.
