Cristian Segura-Carrillo
Research support technician
Social Worker and University Lecturer with more than a decade of experience in the management of higher education programmes and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
PhD in Sociology, Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain. He has a Master in Teaching for Higher Education and a Master in Social Work and Social Policies, as well as a series of diploma and continuing education courses.
He has been coordinator of social programmes in the area of secondary education in the Chilean public system. He is currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of Concepción, from this professional space he has been coordinator of several projects with public funding to carry out Social Intervention in people with disabilities; he has directed postgraduate programmes and educational intervention in higher education.
He is currently the Task Manager of INCASI2.

Research interests
His research interests are mainly focused on social stratification and social mobility. He is also interested in social intervention studies and public policy with a human rights approach.
Cristian is currently working on the DINAMOS project “Dynamics of social mobility analysis in Spain” and is writing his doctoral thesis on the subject of comparative social mobility.
