The procedure is based on data from the ECV / EU-SILC, EPA / LFS. Individual and family income are recalculated taking into account the main redistributive policies established by the State. Secondly, the Results of the estimates of the impact of the current crisis on poverty and inequality by the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona are presented, using the key indicators to evaluate inequality, Estimated from the simulation, such as the At-risk-of-poverty rates, the Gini index or the QIR. The method also allows generating and evaluating the counterfactual scenario where public protection policies (ERTE and IMV) would not be put into practice. Lastly, the value of the analysis procedure for workflows is also argued, as implemented in the targets (Landau, 2021) and tarchetypes (Landau, 2021) packages of R (R Core Team, 2021).
