Alejandro és professor de Sociologia a la Universitat d’Almeria (UAL). Investiga sobre relacions laborals i desigualtats laborals.
Corresponsal d’ Eurofound a Espanya.
Anteriorment va treballar com a investigador al Centre d’Estudis Sociològics sobre la Vida Quotidiana i el Treball (QUIT) de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), participant en diversos projectes europeus sobre la transformació del treball i la negociació col·lectiva.

Interesos de recerca
La seva tesi doctoral analitza la qualitat de l'ocupació externalizada. Els seus interessos d'investigació estan relacionats amb les relacions laborals, els estudis organitzatius i les desigualtats en el mercat de treball.
