GUSTO és un projecte d’investigació finançat pel Setè Programa Marc de la Unió Europea. L’objectiu d’aquest projecte és explorar els diversos modes de polítiques i sistemes de governança que estan emergint en els diferents països europeus per a fer front a la incertesa, a la vegada que es busca la seguretat, a més es pretén valorar el seu èxit relatiu.
El projecte GUSTO vol estudiar especialment aquest procés per a considerar les opcions polítiques del futur a Europa. Per això es requereix d’un nou enfoc, diferent al de les investigacions anteriors sobre les relacions laborals i la gestió dels recursos humans. El projecte reuneix a equips acadèmics de deu països europeus i Canadà, també compte amb la participació activa de l’Institut Sindical Europeu – ETUI.
