Gender inequalities and time use: the Catalan case based on the comparative analysis of the three editions of the Time Use Survey (EUT) and the design of new indicators (INTEMPÈRIE)

The general objective of the INTEMPÈRIE project is to analyse the changes, continuities, and stagnations in time use dedicated to domestic and care work in Catalonia during the period 2002–2024. This will be done through a new theoretical approach, the development of new indicators, and the use of newly available data.

The specific objectives are, firstly, to contribute to the understanding of the heterogeneity of trends by identifying sociological profiles according to patterns of change and continuity; and secondly, to analyse the nature of the transformations underlying this heterogeneity in order to grasp their scope and limitations according to contextual factors.
