Abraham García González

Abraham holds two degrees, in Social Work and Sociology from Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO, 2020). He has completed the Master’s degree in Social Problems at the National University of Distance Education (UNED, 2021). He has been a collaborator in the GITTEC-PAIDI-SEJ-608 group on Social Work and New Technologies, and in the International Network for Comparative Analysis of Social Inequalities (INCASI) project of 20 European and Latin American universities. In addition, he has obtained several grants and competitive contracts, including the implementation of the new Laboratory of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the UPO (FCSLAB) and his work as junior research support in the group Politics, Territory and Participation (PTYP) of the Department of Sociology of the UPO.

In his career, he received the highest marks in his Final Degree Project Profiles of the state of health in Spain and in his Master’s Degree Project Health and its social character in the national home confinement in Spain in 2020. He has also received the academic performance award for best academic record of the promotion in Social Work and Sociology 2015-2020, awarded by the UPO, along with the award for Best National Graduate in Sociology 2020, issued by the Spanish Society of Academic Excellence (SEDEA). He is currently a PhD student and FPU beneficiary in the Department of Sociology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona under the direction of Dr. Pedro López Roldán.
